Go, dog. Go!
I know some of you are very angry about what you percieve to be Bass, Buck and I "selling out". Please read the following and take it to heart.
The recent article about Rowdy that appeared in the Sports Business Journal mischaracterized some of the imminent changes. Rowdy.com IS NOT BECOMING A MULTI-SPORTS PLATFORM. In the future, our hope is to create self-contained websites in the Rowdy model that are devoted to other sports. Those sites will have their own hosts, podcasts, videos, etc. This website and the Rowdy podcast will remain NASCAR exclusive as will Buck, Bass and I.
This strategy is a testament to the success of the Rowdy we all know and love as well as to you, the Community, for making it what it is.

Thank you for the clarification but wish you'd have said all that before that article came out. Now can you or are you going to do something about this eye stabbing font? =)

Q,
If we knew the article was coming out, we would have.

Thanks, Cutler, for clearing up the confusion. Congratulations on the new site. I hope it helps Rowdy continue to grow and thrive.

So, does this mean you guys are going to have Sports Business Journal do a retraction of that article, as well as issuing a new article to set the record straight? Because that article over there sure reads like a press release from your parent company.
Also, if you're not going to a multi-sports platform, why in the world did you need to change your catchphrase?

We are working on changing the font. Also we are working around the clock to fix all the glitches folks have encountered.

Thank you Cutler.
I've been near tears and stressing ALL morning for causing the commotion by posting that link yesterday.
My intent was NOT to fan the flames or cause trouble. The link was posted on Twitter & it seemed to have answered a lot of questions about the changes.
I feel like I have betrayed you, Buck & Bass after fully supporting you guys 110% in the "dark hours." I am sincerely sorry, and I hope that you can accept my apology. I feel horrible that this blog had to be posted to "fix" something I put out there.
I love you guys. I support you guys. I want nothing but good things for all of you. I love the Rowdy Nation. Again, please accept my apologies.

Thank you jwshaw, for your efforts on the eye stabbing font. Much appreciated.
Clarification and communication are always good things to keep people calm and operations running smoothly. Articles like what Julie pointed out are what starts the fear and panic. Change is always a certain thing in todays world but fear of the unknown is what set off this ugliness.
The members of this community love this site and eventually we will all come to like the changes. I will try to do my part by being more patient. My wish for you guys in the Rowdy Booth is success. =)

I think you guys do a great job and the fact that someone wants to buy what you guys are "selling" should be an indication that Rowdy is a great product and has developed into something beyond a blog. I have nothing but kudos for the entire team and community.
I will be here through thick and thin. There are a myriad of things that I will worry about before I start crying foul over website updates and changes.
Thank you. There is a very good chance that I would not be as dedicated to the sport as I am today if it weren't for this website and the work you all have put into it. Rowdy 4 LIfe.
