A phenom who burst on to the Scene in 2005 and almost walked away with a title, Carl is now back with crew chief Bob Osborne and seems to be ready to contend again. He sure knows how to go to the front on the intermediate tracks.
Well known for his flips in Victory Lane and a work out regime that makes Tiger Woods look like Emeril. I was a bit surprised he resigned with Roush, thought he could raise the salary bar by testing free agency. Must have more loyalty than I first thought or Roush dropped a giant number on him that we haven't heard about. He should be a championship contender this year and for years to come.
I have personal issues with Carl Edwards because I'm simply tired of his head being superimposed on my body for magazine covers. That being said, Carl's got the whole package... driving ability and marketability. Now that Roush's COT program has caught up to and, perhaps, surpassed Hendrick's he's making a believer out of everyone. He has even proven that he doesn't need Bob Osborne to find victory lane. Regarding the ongoing debate of whether drivers are athletes, the back flip speaks for itself.
Gerg Biffle likes what the new Roush-Fenway front suspension is doing on the bigger tracks, now he wonders if it will work on the short tracks.
Buck, Bass and Cutler talk about the quality in this year's Chase
Bass and Cutler offer conflicting advice for Clint Bowyer, but they both have his best interests at heart.
