Rowdy.com is an online racing oriented social networking community that connects people through networks of friends for communicating, sharing & making new friends, sharing photos & videos, posting journals & comments, and describing their interests. Rowdy.com allows our users to set up unique personal profiles that can be linked together to make it easy to share information.

To facilitate the Rowdy.com Members' experience, we request and display some personal information to other members and visitors, which allows the users to identify each other and expand their network. Rowdy.com Members can change their profile information at any time and can control how other members and the service communicates with them.

Information Collection and Use by Rowdy.com

Rowdy.com collects user submitted information that the Member uses to create his/her own profile. This personal information includes such things as:

• First and last names of the Member
• Location (e.g., city and state)
• Gender, and other, similar personal information
• Age to authenticate users
• Photos, videos or other shared content uploaded by the Member to his/her profile
• Personal information that the Member voluntarily chooses to include
• E-mail addresses to send sign-up verifications and general notifications to those users relating to the Rowdy.com service

Rowdy.com also logs non-personally-identifiable information including IP address, profile information, aggregate user-data, and browser type, from users and visitors to the site. This data is used to manage the website, track usage and improve the website services. This non-personally, identifiable information may be shared with third-parties to provide more relevant services and advertisements to Members. User IP addresses are recorded for security and monitoring purposes.

From time to time, Rowdy.com or a partner may sponsor a promotion, sweepstake or contest on Rowdy.com. Users may be asked to provide personal information including name, e-mail address, mailing address, or to answer questions in order to participate.

For Members outside of the United States, the user is consenting to have his/her personal data transferred to and processed in the United States.

If a user posts personally identifiable information in areas of the site accessible to other users, he/she should be aware that such information can be read, collected, or used by other users of these forums, and could be used improperly to send users unsolicited messages. We are not responsible for the personally identifiable information a user chooses to submit in these forums or for others misuse of such information. Any misuse or improper collection of information provided on Rowdy.com is a violation of the Rowdy.com Terms of Service and should be reported to privacy@rowdy.com.

• Children Under Age 14
  The minimum age to participate in Rowdy.com is fourteen (14). Rowdy.com does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 14 or knowingly allow such persons to register. No one under age 14 is allowed to provide any personal information to or on Rowdy.com. If you believe that we might have any information from or about a child under 16, please contact us at privacy@rowdy.com.
• Minor Between the Ages of 14 and 18
  We recommend that minors between 14 and 18 ask their parents for permission before sending any information about themselves to anyone over the Internet. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child/minor under age 18 without parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.
• Individuals Under 21
  Rowdy.com is not responsible for individuals under the age of 21, who have improperly indicated his/her age. In the event we learn that an individual misrepresented his/her age, we will promptly cancel that Member's profile. If you believe that an individual under 21 has misrepresented his/her age, please contact us at privacy@rowdy.com.

Sharing of the Information this Site Collects/Gathers/Tracks

User Profile information including Members' pictures and names are displayed to people in order to facilitate user interaction in the Rowdy.com social networking community. E-mail addresses are used for the purposes of inviting new friends to join Rowdy.com, to add users to Members' friends networks, and to send notifications related to the service. With the exception of inviting friends, adding friends, and notifications, a user's e-mail address is not shared or displayed to people within a user's personal network. Users within a personal network communicate on Rowdy.com with each other through the Rowdy.com service, without disclosing their e-mail addresses. Users' full names are never directly revealed to other members. To facilitate searching and finding friends and acquaintances on the service, Rowdy.com allows users to search for other members using first and last name, e-mail address.

• Forums, Blogs and Message Boards
  Please be aware that whenever a user voluntarily posts public information to Forums, Blogs, Message Boards or any other public comment that the information can be accessed by the public and can in turn be used by those people to send unsolicited communications.

Except as otherwise described in this privacy statement, or where a user is expressly informed otherwise, we do not sell, rent, share, trade or give away any of a user's personal information, unless: (1) to conform to legal requirements or to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other legal process received by Rowdy.com, whether or not a response is required by applicable law; (2) to enforce the Rowdy.com Terms of Use Agreement or to protect our rights; or (3) to protect the safety of members of the public and users of the service.

However, Rowdy.com may share profile information and aggregate usage information in a non-personally identifiable manner with advertisers and other third parties in order to present to Members and other users of the Rowdy.com website more targeted advertising, products and services. In such situations we will never disclose information that would personally identify a Member.

Rowdy.com reserves the right to transfer personal information to a successor in interest that acquires rights to that information as a result of the sale of Rowdy.com or substantially all of its assets to that successor in interest. Invitations and Other Communications to Non-Members

If a Member elects to use our "Invite a Buddy" feature to invite a friend to become a Member of the Rowdy.com community, we ask them for the friend's e-mail address. Rowdy.com will automatically send the friend an e-mail inviting them to join the site via our automated invitation system. Rowdy.com stores the e-mail addresses that Members provide so that the respondents may be added to the friend's list of the member sending the invitations, and also to send reminders of the invitations. Rowdy.com will never sell these e-mail addresses or use them to send any other communication besides invitations and invitation reminders. Recipients of invitations from Rowdy.com may contact Rowdy.com to request the removal of their information from our database.

Use of Cookies

Rowdy.com uses cookies to store visitors' preferences and to record session information. A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's computer tied to information about the user. We use both "session ID cookies" and "persistent cookies." We use session ID cookies to to confirm that users are logged in and make it easier to navigate our site. These cookies terminate once the user closes the browser. A persistent cookie remains on the hard drive for an extended period of time. Note also that Members may optionally use a cookie to remember their e-mail in order to automatically log in to our website. Each browser is different, but a user can remove persistent cookies by following directions provided in the Internet browser's "help" file; however, please note that, if a user rejects cookies or disable cookies in his/her web browser, some features of Rowdy.com may not work.

We do not and will not use cookies to collect private information from any Member or other user of the Rowdy.com website which they did not intentionally submit to us, other than as stated in this Privacy Policy. Please note that Rowdy.com may allow 3rd party advertisers that are presenting advertisements on some of our pages to set and access their cookies on a user's computer. Advertisers' use of cookies is subject to their own privacy policies, not the Rowdy.com Privacy Policy.

Rowdy.com contains links to other websites. This includes links that are placed there by Rowdy.com (such as in advertisements), as well as by other Rowdy.com Members. Please be aware that Rowdy.com is not responsible for the privacy policies and/or practices on other sites. We encourage all Members and other users of the Rowdy.com website to be aware of when they leave our website, and to read the privacy policies of each and every website that collects personally identifiable information. Our privacy policy only governs information collected on Rowdy.com.

Correcting/Updating or Removing Information

Rowdy.com users may modify or remove any of their personal information at any time by logging into their account. Access and control over most personal information on Rowdy.com is readily available through the profile editing tools. Information will be updated immediately.

E-mail Choice/Opt-out (when available)

Members who no longer wish to receive updates or notifications may choose not to by indicating as such in his/her user profile Account Settings. All notification e-mails and Rowdy.com newsletters also include the above instructions for opting-out of those communications in the future.

Third Party Advertising

Ads appearing on this Web site may be delivered to users by Rowdy.com or one of our Web advertising partners. Our Web advertising partners may set cookies. These cookies allow the ad server to recognize a user's computer each time they send an online advertisement. This information allows an ad network to deliver targeted advertisements that they believe will be of most interest to the users and/or in order to measure the effectiveness of their ads and to personalize advertising content. In this way, they may compile information about where individuals using a computer or browser saw their advertisements and determine which advertisements are clicked. Rowdy.com does not have access to or control of the cookies that may be placed by the third party advertisers. Third party advertisers have no access to a user's contact information stored on Rowdy.com unless the user chooses to share it with them. Security

Member accounts are secured by member-created passwords. Rowdy.com takes every precaution to protect the information of the Members, as well as information collected from other users of the Rowdy.com website to insure that member account information is kept private. A user's account information is located on a secured server behind a firewall. We use reasonable measures to protect member information that is stored within our database, and we restrict access to member information to those employees who need access to perform their job functions, such as our customer service personnel and technical staff. Please note that we cannot guarantee the security of member account information. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors may compromise the security of member information at any time. Changes in Our Privacy Policy

From time to time we may make changes to our privacy policy, and we reserve the right to change our Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use at any time. Non-material changes and clarifications will take effect immediately, and material changes will take effect within 30 days of their posting on this site. If we make changes, we will post them on our site to make users aware of what the changes are so users will always be aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and when we may disclose it. A User is bound by any minor changes to the policy when she or he uses the site after those changes have been posted.
