Who Am I: I am a mother to two wonderful kids. My son Taylor is 5 and was born w/a very rare birth defect bladder exstrophy, his bladder was on the outside. He has had 10 surgeries since he was a little less than 72 hours old and will continue to have more. We live about 30 mins from Bristol Motor Speedway but I had never been to race before. I never was in to Nascar excpet for when i was about 5 or so. But that all changed once I had my son! Taylor has been a Nascar/Kyle Busch FANATIC since he was about 2. His first words that everyone were able to understand was "KYLE BUSCH!" He had a very bad speech delay and still does but everyone can understand him when hes talking about Kyle. He has turned my husband and my self in to huge Nascar & Kyle Busch fans...we dont miss a single thing thats Nascar involved. He is now working on making his 18 month old little sister a Kyle Busch fan also...hes doin a pretty good job at it her first sentence last month was "There's Kyle Busch!" Taylor got to spend a special day @ BMS during the Sharpie 500 in '09 thanks to the people @ Food City, BMS, Elevations Group and Joe Gibbs Racing! He got to spend a few minutes w/Kyle before he got ready to go racing that night at his motorhome and it was a day he will never 4get. Taylor was speechless when he saw Kyle and couldnt quit smiling! Kyle was soooo very nice to us all and talked to Taylor like they were best friends. We are Nascar/ Kyle Busch fans 4 life now!!!

Had an AWESOME day @ Bristol. Got to sit on front row 4 Wii Boxing matches. Of course Kyle Busch beat Scott Speed..his lucky charm Taylor was there! Taylor had 2 ride wheel chair all day because of energy level but had an awesome day! Pics soon!

Rowdy Members Please Help My Son!

Rowdy members I need your help! My son Taylor was born 5 years ago with a very rare birth defect called bladder exstrophy (his bladder was on the outside).He’s had 10 surgeries since he was less than 72 hrs old, his last one was this past September to close his bladder & he now uses a catheter through his belly button every 3 hrs to empty it. He’s a NASCAR fanatic & fanatical about Kyle Busch! We’ve designed a bladder exstrophy car for Kyle Busch in the Toyota Racing Sponsafy contest & need votes to be in top 10. The winner will be picked from top 10 & will have their car driven in NASCAR All Star Race at Charlotte Motor Speedway in May with a 5 day stay & tickets 2 all the All Star events. Click the link at the end of this post & then click on red banner that says vote for car on that page! Voting ends March 15 at midnight & we believe as of right now we need somewhere between 1,000 - 5,000 to be in top 10. However, we’ve set a goal of 10,000...may be a little high but I believe we can do it! You can vote once a day for the next 12 days. This is a wonderful way to get the word out bout bladder exstrophy 2 millions of people & we are praying that maybe we can spare future bladder exstrophy families the feeling of loneliness & fear of the unknown that so many of us in the bladder exstrophy community had to go through when our kids were born, not to mention what a wonderful experience it would be for Taylor. Always cool to find another Rabid Fan of the Rowdy One! What a great design, very nice job. Very glad the Rowdy Boys mentioned this in their podcast. I wish you luck and hope to see Rowdy in the winners circle in this car very soon.
