Bristol Baby!!!
I have not heard a lot of chatter about the end of the race at Atlanta being ruined by Cousin Carl's bonehead move. I was listening to the PRN broadcast when the incident between Edwards & BK happened. It SOUNDED like Juan Pablo was catching Kurt Busch. Did he have a legitimate chance of passing him in the last three laps if the race hadn't been yellow flagged? Judging by the lack of criticism on this aspect of the race I have my doubts. What is everyone's opinion about this? Did JPM have a real chance for his first victory on an oval track?

No. Kurt took off like a bat out of hell on both those restarts and every one else bunched up and got in each others way.

I'm not talking about the re-starts...I knew Juan Pablo was done when the yellow came out and it was going to overdrive. I am talking about prior to the wreck...had the wreck not happened, would JPM have caught Busch?

Yes, he would have caught him. Passing Kurt would have been another story.

Well that is a shame if JPM would have won the race if the wreck hadn't have happened. Anyone think JPM will try to dump Cousin Carl at Bristol?? :P
